The Western Slopes Business Association and the Town of Richmond will be hosting the 13th annual Richmond Holiday Market on Saturday, December 3th, 2016 from 9am to 3pm. This annual event has grown over the years and is offered in four locations, including the Richmond Free Library; the Richmond Congregational Church, the Richmond Town Hall and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend.
Shop Local: It’s the perfect gift-buying opportunity, with over 60 vendors offering hand-crafted and original items, produce, locally-prepared food and more. Bolton Valley will be at the Richmond Free Library’s mezzanine level, selling season passes.
Fun for Kids: Santa arrives by horse and wagon at Catholic Church at 10 am and visits with families there until noon. Make an ornament at the Catholic Church (free with a can for the Richmond Food Shelf). There are wagon rides leaving from outside the Town Center Parking Lot from 10-noon. Boy Scouts will be selling wreaths outside Library & Catholic Church.
Great Food: Homemade food will be served at the Congregational (9am-3pm) and Catholic churches (9am-noon), plus Smilie Memorial School food outside the Richmond Free Library (9am-3pm).
Musical Notes: Festive music will be provided by CHMS (9.45 Santa Parade on St., 10am Catholic Church, 10.30am Congregational Church, 11.30am Library). Route 7 will travel throughout the venues. DJ Tony Basanta will spin tunes outside of the Town Center (9am-3pm). Plus visit Arabesque Etc. dance studio (35 W. Main St.) for a live Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal all day (9am-3pm).
For Your Convenience: Visitors are encouraged to park at the Catholic Church for their convenience, with regular, free shuttle service from Catholic Church to Town Center.

SILENT AUCTION:The Western Slopes Business Association Silent Auction (9am-2.30pm) will be held in the Town Hall basement Teen Center space; each year the auction benefits the Association’s Scholarship Fund for MMU graduates.
