Vermont Arts & Artisans in Bolton, Huntington, Richmond, Jericho and Underhill VT
Our culture comes from our hands and hearts.
For over 200 years, people have been making things in this region, from millwork to modern art. With its picturesque and serene setting, it’s no wonder so many creative people have set up shop in the Western Slopes region to draw inspiration for their craft. The muted shadows of the mountains through a morning fog, the crystal-white crests of a river’s rapids, the simultaneous strength and flexibility of an oak tree, the applause of red maple leaves fluttering in the wind. These visual and auditory muses make their way into architecture, paintings, songs, and stagecraft that manage to capture fleeting movement in a form we can hold onto for a little while longer.
